إفطار رمضاني على شرف النائبة الأمريكية Rashida Tlaib في مقاطعة أورنج
أقامت الجالية العربية في مقاطعة أورنج بولاية California إفطارًا رمضانيًا على شرف عضو الكونغرس الأمريكي Rashida Tlaib، بحضور عدد من أبناء الجالية العربية والمسلمة الذين توافدوا للمشاركة في الأجواء الرمضانية واللقاء مع النائبة الأمريكية.
وأُقيمت الفعالية في مطعم Caspian Mediterranean Kitchen في منطقة Foothill Ranch، حيث أمضت طليب وقتًا مع مؤيديها وأبناء الجالية، في لقاء اتسم بأجواء رمضانية وروحانية.
وخلال كلمتها، تحدثت طليب عن التحديات التي تواجهها في عملها داخل الكونغرس، كما تطرقت إلى الانتخابات القادمة وأهمية استمرار مشاركة الجاليات العربية والمسلمة في الحياة السياسية الأمريكية. وتُعد طليب أول امرأة أمريكية من أصل فلسطيني ومسلمة تُنتخب لعضوية الكونغرس الأمريكي.
وتولت عريفة الحفل الإعلامية سميرة سعود، التي رحّبت بالحضور وهنّأتهم بحلول شهر رمضان المبارك، متمنية لهم إفطارًا مباركًا وأمسية رمضانية طيبة.
كما دعت منظمة الحفل Rima Nashashibi الحضور إلى دعم حملة عضو الكونغرس Rashida Tlaib، وحثّتهم على التبرع بسخاء لمساندة مسيرتها السياسية في المرحلة المقبلة، مؤكدة أهمية استمرار دعمها في جهودها للدفاع عن القضايا التي تتبناها داخل الكونغرس وخارجه.
وحضر الحفل نخبة من أبناء الجالية العربية وعدد من رجال الأعمال والشخصيات الاجتماعية، من بينهم رئيسة تحرير صحيفة الانتشار العربي السيدة فاطمة عطية، إلى جانب ممثلين عن Palestinian American Women’s Association، في أمسية جمعت بين الأجواء الرمضانية

Ramadan Iftar Held in Honor of Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib in Orange County
The Arab community in Orange County hosted a Ramadan iftar in honor of U.S. Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, bringing together members of the Arab and Muslim communities for an evening of fellowship and reflection.
The event took place at Caspian Mediterranean Kitchen in Foothill Ranch, where Congresswoman Tlaib spent time with her supporters and community members in a warm and spiritual Ramadan atmosphere.
During her remarks, Tlaib spoke about the challenges she faces in her work in Congress and addressed the upcoming elections. She also emphasized the importance of continued civic engagement and political participation by Arab and Muslim Americans. Tlaib is widely recognized as the first Palestinian American Muslim woman elected to the U.S. Congress.
The evening was hosted by master of ceremonies Samira Saud, who welcomed guests and extended Ramadan greetings, wishing everyone a blessed iftar and a peaceful evening.
Community activist Rima Nashashibi also addressed the audience, encouraging attendees to generously support Congresswoman Tlaib’s campaign and continue backing her political journey as she advocates for the causes she represents.
The gathering was attended by a distinguished group of community members, business leaders, and social figures, including Fatmeh Atieh, Editor-in-Chief of Al-Enteshar Al-Arabi Newspaper, as well as representatives from the Members of Union of Palestinian American Women’s The evening combined the spirit of Ramadan with community connection and dialogue.
