.Woman punches woman in Manhattan subway anti-Asian hate crime: NYPD

MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) – A woman is accused of punching another woman in a hate crime on a Manhattan subway on July 17, according to the NYPD.

It happened on a northbound Q train at the West 57th Street and 7th Avenue subway station around 8 p.m. The suspect allegedly started arguing with the victim, according to authorities.More Local News

The woman then allegedly made anti-Asian remarks and punched the victim in the face, per police. The suspect fled the train to parts unknown.

The suspect is described as being in her 30s with long, wavy black hair and around 5’5″ tall. She was last seen wearing a brown tan top short dress, multi-color sneakers, a white hat and carrying a black bag.
